Refund Policy 

Terms and Conditions for Script Team 6 LLC

 

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of screenwriting services provided by Script Team 6 LLC ("Company"), located in North Carolina, United States. By engaging our services, the Client ("Client") agrees to comply with the terms outlined below.

2. Services Provided

The Company offers professional screenwriting services tailored to the Client's specific needs. The scope of work, timelines, and payment will be mutually agreed upon by the Client and the Company before work begins.

3. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required upfront to commence work.

  • The remaining 50% of the payment is due upon delivery of the final script.

  • If any additional services, such as substantial revisions beyond the original scope, are requested, these will be charged separately at a rate agreed upon by both parties.

  • All payments must be made through the methods accepted by Script Team 6 LLC, which may include PayPal, wire transfers, or other approved means.

4. Revisions

  • Revisions & Charges:
    Revisions requested after delivery are subject to additional charges. The cost will be based on the scope and complexity of the requested changes. No revisions are included in the initial project fee with only the exception of minor nonstory changes.

  • Requesting Revisions:
    All revision requests must be submitted within 5 days of receiving the final script. After this period, any requested changes will require a new service agreement and will incur additional charges.

  • Cost of Revisions:
    The cost for revisions will be determined based on the nature and scope of the requested changes and will be communicated to the client before any further work is undertaken.

  • Refund Policy Impact:
    Revision costs are separate from the refund policy. Any additional charges for revisions are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund provided, if applicable.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 5-day period following the delivery of the final script during which the Client can request a refund. Refunds will only be considered if the request is made within five calendar days of receiving the completed script and is accompanied by probable cause, which must be based on clear dissatisfaction with the quality or relevance of the work delivered. The refund policy is subject to the following conditions:

  • The Client is eligible for a refund of up to 50% of the total project cost if probable cause is provided and deemed valid.

  • Refund requests must clearly outline the reasons for dissatisfaction with the script, including specific issues that differ from the original project brief.

  • Refunds will not be issued if the dissatisfaction is due to changes in the Client's preferences or needs that deviate from the initial agreement.

  • Refunds will not be issued for completed projects that fall outside the agreed-upon 5-day window.

  • No refund will be issued if the script has been used commercially, publicly, or shared with third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, all rights to the final script will transfer to the Client.

  • Until full payment is received, the Company retains ownership of all intellectual property rights to the script.

7. Confidentiality

The Company agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all Client information and project details unless otherwise authorized by the Client. Similarly, the Client agrees to respect the confidentiality of the Company’s creative processes and trade secrets.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the Agreement at any time. However, if the Client terminates after work has commenced, the deposit will be non-refundable, and any additional work completed up to that point must be paid for in full.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, in the United States. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of North Carolina courts.
